OUR CLUB
Park View AFC is a community-focused football club built around a clear and ambitious vision: to provide a complete development pathway from Nursery United through to senior football.

Working in partnership with Park View Academy of Sport, we offer opportunities for players of all abilities to develop, compete and progress within a structured environment that places equal importance on player development, education and personal growth.

Our pathway begins with Nursery United and Little United, providing young children with a fun, engaging introduction to football. Players then progress through our youth teams from U7 to U16, where they benefit from coaching, competitive match programmes and a player-centred development model.

Alongside our team pathway, players can access additional development opportunities through our Player Development Centre and Goalkeeper Development Centre (U7–U13), holiday camps and elite training events, helping them maximise their potential at every stage of their journey.

At U17, players have the opportunity to join Park View Academy of Sport, a nationally recognised full-time sports education programme that combines academic study with high-performance football development. Competing across U17, U18 and U19 age groups, Academy players benefit from expert coaching, strength and conditioning support, performance analysis and outstanding facilities designed to prepare them for the next level of the game.

For talented players aged 16–19, Park View AFC provides multiple competitive pathways. Our U18 team competes in the Durham County U18 League, providing a challenging environment for players to continue their development while pursuing their education.
Players can also progress into senior football from U17 onwards through our Men's First Team and Reserve Team structure. The First Team competes in the Northern League Division Two (Step 6 of the National League System), offering players the opportunity to test themselves against experienced senior opposition. Our Reserve Team provides an important bridge between academy and first-team football, ensuring players continue to develop in a competitive environment.

Importantly, our community football pathway continues beyond U16, ensuring players of all abilities can remain involved in the game. Through our U17 and U18 community teams, players can continue to enjoy regular training, competitive fixtures and a positive team environment while developing at a pace that suits their individual aspirations. This provides an inclusive route for those who wish to continue playing alongside their education, maintain their enjoyment of football and remain part of the Park View AFC family.

Our Women's First Team competes in the North East Women's Regional League and forms an integral part of our commitment to providing opportunities for female players. Supported by the Park View Academy of Sport Women's Football Programme, players benefit from the same high-performance environment, coaching expertise and progression opportunities available throughout the club.

Today, Park View AFC stands as one club, one pathway — creating opportunities for players from their very first football experience through to academy, senior and women's football, while developing confident individuals both on and off the pitch.
